Self Study Day 22

Final captures of the game. After I have presented the game at the school I will also submit to gameJolt so you guys can try it out as well as a small video going through the room and a breakdown of the process.
I turned off the depth of field, so as to better see the final look of everything.

Self Study Day 20

So today the day before my deadline, my computer crashed and unreal decided that meant corrupting my level... So I ended up beginning my day with frantically trying to get the level-file back. What I learned: 1. The corrupted file was done for. 2. Unreal actually makes back-ups automatically! I'm such a lucky potato! 3. Do you own f***ing back-ups girl!

Afterwards a had an awesome talk with a friend of mine, and he showed me a different workflow for textures, so I ended up basicly redoing all the materials and saving out new textures from Quixel.
I havn't tweeked much yet, so everything look kind off wet right now. I'll get to that.

Also the mirror actually somewhat work like a mirror. Not optimal, but it will have to do, given the time.

Self Study Day 19

Decided to changed the skin tone of the girl after looking at a lot of picture of people of mixed race. Mostly they become quite light-skinned compared to what I had going on.



The white part will be transparent in Unreal.


I tweeked the colours of some of the textures a bit, so they were less saturated, to create a more uniform look.
